The Labrador Trough, a large geological entity that roughly runs along the Quebec-Labrador border between the northern end of the Manicouagan Reservoir up to Ungava Bay, is well known for its large iron deposits. Whether in its southern part (the Gagnon Terrane), which hosts metamorphosed deposits such as Bloom Lake, Mont-Wright and Carol Lake, or in its central and northern parts with the low metamorphic grade deposits of the Schefferville region, the Labrador Trough is known for its multitude of Lake Superior-type iron deposits. But what about other metals?
