Innovation for the Environment, the Public, and Mine Workers

Innovation is a hot topic in the mining industry. Mining companies operating in Quebec are making every effort to adopt new and more innovative ways of doing things, whether it is to limit the impacts on people or the environment, increase productivity, reduce costs, or improve worker safety. The Quebec Mining Association recently conducted an inventory of good practices in innovation. Two are discussed below.
